What this website collects

This static website does not store student records, donor profiles, or card details and does not use advertising trackers. It does not collect card details or confirm bank transfers. The hosting provider may process technical request data to serve and protect the site.

External calendars and payments

The class schedule is embedded from Google Calendar. Loading that calendar connects your browser to Google, whose privacy terms apply. Its public events must not contain student names or private details. A direct calendar link is also provided.

The embedded donation widget connects your browser to Stripe. Its Donate button opens Iqra's Stripe checkout with the amount you choose. Stripe handles payment details, confirmation, receipts, and its own privacy practices. Zelle transfers take place in your bank’s app. Please review the privacy terms of the service you choose.

Hadith sources

Daily and browsable Sahih al-Bukhari narrations are requested from Hadith API through jsDelivr. Your browser connects to that public service when loading a narration. The daily narration is cached in browser local storage for the current date. Source links open Sunnah.com or the data provider under their own privacy practices.

Prayer preferences and content tools

Prayer settings (ZIP area, approximate coordinates, timezone, calculation method, and Asr preference) are stored in your browser local storage. Updating a ZIP sends that ZIP to Zippopotam.us to find its approximate location; prayer times are calculated on your device. The Qibla compass accesses orientation sensors only when you enable it. The website does not request GPS location.

The Content tools page prepares announcement and media files in your browser. Selected files are not uploaded to a server. Download the update package before closing the tab. Publishing requires the maintainer to update the website repository and redeploy.

Photographs and community information

Iqra approves images before publication. Photographs involving children require permission, and identifying student information should not appear on this website. Contact Iqra if you have a concern about published information.

Copying and printing

Copy buttons use your device’s clipboard only when selected. Printable check instructions use your browser’s print function. No donation or clipboard data is sent to a website server.
